Shire, Personett Up for Honda Award

Mizzou's Sarah Shire and Brandi Personett, a Liberty native competing for Penn State, are two of the four finalists for the 2009-2010 Honda Sports Award for the top collegiate gymnast.

The other two gymnasts up for the honor are Susan Jackson of LSU and Carly Janiga of Stanford.

The winner after nationwide balloting will become the candidate for The Honda-Broderick Cup awarded to the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year.
