Lyons Headed to Holy Land

According to Frankie Sachs, former Jerusalem Post reporter and currently working in media for Euroleague Basketball, Leo Lyons has signed a one-year contract to play for the Israel-based team Hapoel Jerusalem.

“It showed up on their website,” Sachs told me Tuesday afternoon. “I’d have provided a link, but it’s in Hebrew.”

Yes, Frankie. Hebrew is Greek to me, sorry to say. But his U.S. agent confirmed to me that Leo is bound for the Holy Land.
