McCray's Kansas career ends prematurely with torn ACL
Kansas women's basketball senior forward Danielle McCray will miss the remainder of this season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee in practice on Thursday afternoon, KU head coach Bonnie Henrickson announced Friday in a release.
McCray, a native of Olathe, concludes her Kansas career as one of the all-time greats in the history of the program. McCray's 1,934 points rank her fourth on the Kansas all-time scoring chart.
McCray was named the Big 12 preseason player of the year heading into this season.
