Jake Sharp scored his first touchdown since the UTEP game with a 1-yard plunge to bring KU to within 27-13. The Jayhawks moved it easily.

Cody Johnson ran it in for a 1-yard touchdown to give the Longhorns a 24-7 lead. Pretty weak defensive series for Kansas right there. This one could get out of hand if offense doesn't answer here.

Texas kicker Hunter Lawrence booted a 49-yard field goal. The Longhorns started at their own 36 after Jacob Branstetter attemped an onside kick that literally went seven yards and spun backward. A bold move by Mangino, but an understandable one. Just poor execution. Nice stop by KU defense.

Jacob Branstetter kicked a 26-yard field goal. KU had first-and-goal from the UT 6 and missed on two fade routes to Dezmon Briscoe.
