COLUMBIA - Missouri lost starting tailback Derrick Washington with a first-half concussion. For much of a see-saw game it looked as if Mizzou might go winless in conference home games for the first time since 1994.
But ultimately, 10 fourth-quarter points carried the Tigers to a 34-24 victory over Iowa State on Saturday.
With sensational receiver Danario Alexander turning in another sensational day with 11 catches for 173 yards and a 63-yard touchdown romp, Missouri now heads into next Saturday’s Border War game against Kansas 7-4 overall.

The Old Tackle Eligible with a twist. Yes, Austen Arnaud found No. 51 - an offensive tackle - alone in the right flat with a quick toss. It was behind the line of scrimmage, so it was a lateral. And the 338-pound Haughton ran it in 12 yards for a touchdown.
