Wow. Nebraska takes the lead on a 20-yard touchdown run by Roy Helu Jr. The Cornhuskers got the ball on the KU 31 to start thanks to a big return and an offsides penalty. It looked as if the Jayhawks were going to force a punt, but Justin Thornton was flagged for a personal foul facemask.

The 2-point conversion was converted, a pass from Zac Lee to Niles Paul.

Nebraska got on the board quickly on a fumble recovery in the end zone by running back Roy Helu. Quarterback Zac Lee ran an option play from the 2-yard line and fumbled as he was going in. Helu jumped on it for the score.
