Mizzou Confirms Signings

By Mike DeArmond - Posted on 13 November 2009

What was already well known and widely reported has been confirmed by Missouri Coach Mike Anderson this morning.
The Tigers have signed to national letters of intent three basketball recruits for the Class of 2010:
Kadeem Green (Charlotte, N.C./United Faith)
Ricky Kreklow (Columbia, Mo. / Rock Bridge)
Phil Pressey (Dallas, Texas / Episcopal).

“We are certainly excited to have these three young men join our program,” Anderson said in a release Friday morning. “All three come from tremendous families and they are very talented basketball players.
“We were able to attract three guys that we identified early on in the recruiting process and that speaks volumes about the growth of the Mizzou brand. These three young guys fit our brand and we are elated that each of them wanted to become Tigers.”
Kreklow, the son of MU volleyball coaches Wayne and Susan Kreklow, is a 6-5 shooting guard who averaged 13 points, 4.5 assists and hit 56 three-pointers for Rock Bridge High School in last season.
Green is a 6-9 forward who averaged 11 points, seven rebounds and four blocks per game for United Faith a year ago. He reported has a 7-foot, 1-inch wing span.

Pressey is a candidate for the McDonald’s All-America game. A 5-10 point guard, he averaged 19 points and 10 assists a game last season with four steals and five rebounds an outing. He’s the son of former NBA player Paul Pressey, a former college roommate of MU’s head coach.
