James Naismith book signing

Rob Rains, the author of a great new book called "James Naismith: The Man Who Invented Basketball," will be doing a book signing on Friday at the Kansas Union Bookstore from 4 to 5:30 p.m. with Naismith's granddaughter, Hellen Carpenter, at his side.

The book, with a foreword by Roy Williams and an introduction by Carpenter, takes you through the life of Naismith and into great detail about the invention of the game we all love.
