Missouri won’t confirm them until Thursday, but Coach Mike Anderson has today received scholarship acceptance papers from two of this three orally committed basketball recruits for next season.
Paul Pressey, a 5-10 point guard out of Dallas, sent his confirmation in shortly after noon on Wednesday.
Just before 2 p.m. Kadeem Green, a 6-8 power forward out of Charlotte, N.C., sent in his papers.
Both confirmed their signing with PowerMizzou.com.
Missouri officials said they would have no confirmation of signings until Thursday. That is the same day 6-5 shooting guard Ricky Kreklow is to have a signing ceremony at Rock Bridge High School in Columbia.
Anderson doesn’t like to piecemeal signing announcements, preferring to wait until the entire class is confirmed.
That said, Missouri may yet add another player to the recruiting class.
The Tigers are on the final list of schools being considered by Tony Mitchell, ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 15 player in the nation.
The 6-6 power forward out of Dallas reportedly has Missouri and Georgetown as his top two schools.
On the women’s side, Coach Cindy Stein on Wednesday announced the signing of 6-1 wing player Maggie Flynn out of Troy, Mo., and Paige Spietz, a 6-3 forward from Brimfield, Ill.
