MU: Gettis Back, Ricks Lost for Season

Starting cornerback Carl Gettis will return 100 percent for Missouri's game on Saturday at Kansas State.

Reserve defensive back Hardy Ricks won't return for the rest of the season.

"Hardy Ricks had an ACL (injury)," said Coach Gary Pinkel. "He'll be out for the rest of the season, and have surgery in a couple of weeks."

Gettis went down after a hard tackle and at first it was feared he might have a concussion. Pinkel said that wasn't the case, that Gettis had a neck injury instead that will allow him to play on.
