Ziggy Agreement with Steelers

By Mike DeArmond - Posted on 25 July 2009

Former Missouri defensive line standout Evander “Ziggy” Hood hasn’t signed the five-year contract yet, but on Saturday afternoon Hood agreed to the deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The agreement first came to light on the Twitter account of agent Andy Ross.

“Glad to see Ziggy Hood has agreed to terms with Pittsburgh,” Ross twittered on Saturday afternoon. “Guy is a machine. He was working out with Mizzou players running sprints this A.M.”
Later the agreement was confirmed on the website of the Pittsburg Post-Gazette and the Steelers’ website as well.
Terms of the agreement with the first-round draft choice have not been disclosed.
