Coulter Should Be Fine

By Mike DeArmond - Posted on 15 August 2009

Defensive end Brian Coulter finished Missouri’s Saturday scrimmage on the sidelines, his pads and helmet at his side.
Missouri Coach Gary Pinkel did not seem concerned saying Coulter had a bruised knee.
Two other defensive ends - Jacquies Smith and Aldon Smith - looked as good as advertised.
Coach Craig Kuligowski joked that was to be expected.
“When your name is Smith and you play defensive end at Missouri, it is kind of expected,” Kuligowski said.
Remember Justin Smith and Brian Smith? Well, you get the idea.

Said Pinkel of prospects for his two-time defending Big 12 North team?
“We’ve got the makings of a pretty good football team,” Pinkel said. “We just can waste a day (of preparation).”
