MU's Hill Has a Lot of Young Pup Receivers
Mizzou receivers coach Andy Hill has a lot of young talent on his hands.
Behind starting senior Jared Perry are: Redshirt freshman Rolandis Woodland, true freshmen Kerwin Stricker and L'Damian Washington.
Behind starting senior Danio Alexander are: Sophomore Jerrell Jackson, junior Forrest Shock and freshman T.J. Moe.
Behind sophomore Wes Kemp are: Sophomore Brandon Gerau, redshirt freshman Gahn McGaffie and true freshman Jaleel Clark.
“Young guys, when they have adversity facing them, how are they going to react?" Hill said, asking and then answering the rhetorical question.
"We don’t know.
“When you haven’t done it, its easy to get down on yourself. But we know we have talent. That’s my job to get it out of them.”
Word out of Columbia on the first of two practices on Tuesday is that Moe went from a red pullover to a full red jersey, raising concern over how Moe is doing with rehab from foot surgery.
Also: Stricker had a dislocated finger and freshman defensive lineman Marvin Foster sat out most of the drills after injury to a knee.
